Q: Who or What inspires you? Why?
A: I am inspired by the power of love and the idea that we human beings are more powerful than we know. Maybe it's because I come from an immigrant family where people came here with nothing and had to make something of themselves.
Q: What does creativity mean to you?
A: Creativity is the same idea. Growing something where nothing previously existed. Creativity is giving birth to a vision that came straight from your soul. It really is magical if we think about it.
Q: What is your favorite place in the world?
A: I love being under a shady tree, sitting on the grass, eating something delicious and sharing interesting conversations and beautiful energy with a person or persons I adore.
Q: What do you love most in the world?
A: I love my family. I dated someone who hated both of his parents and all of his siblings and I knew right away that we would never understand each other. Of course I have extended family, as we all do, that I don't particularly care for, but I try to speak with my parents daily. I think that my sister and my brother are the bees knees. I also have a bunch of half siblings that I am getting to know.
Q: What are the causes you care about? How do you actively support these causes with your time, money or other method/resource?
A: I care about women's empowerment. This past weekend I spoke at the NYC Women's Empowerment Summit with Vivica Fox. I have also created a museum based film festival in conjunction with Eve Ensler's VDay. I give time and money to related causes.
Q: What question do you want to ask me?
A: I love this series. How did you come up with it?
@NMK: I always have a list of people I want to meet. Mostly I just want to shake their hand and say hello. Some people I have a few questions for. I thought if I had an elevator ride with someone what are the 5 questions I'd want to ask them.
Q: What question do you wish I asked you and what is your answer to it?
